What We Do
Ermis operates ultra low latency shortwave networks, revolutionizing the way connectivity is established across the globe. Currently in the experimental stage, we are dedicated to pushing the boundaries of what is possible in the field of communication. Utilizing High Frequency (HF) radio signals, we establish direct intercontinental communication links between different antennas situated in different corners of the world.
Our groundbreaking approach enables seamless connectivity and facilitates direct communication channels on a global scale. At Ermis, we are committed to innovation and exploration, paving the way for a future where boundaries are overcome and intercontinental connectivity becomes a reality.
How We Do It
At Ermis, we collaborate closely with partners who assist us in our research and development endeavors.
While these partners handle tower deployment in international locations, we concentrate our efforts on the Japanese market because of our deep understanding of the local market, regulatory requirements, and technological landscape. Our collaborative approach includes:
- Sharing knowledge and resources to drive innovation
- Navigating regional regulations and compliance together
- Conducting field trials and experiments in collaboration with partners
- Coordinating efforts to optimize network performance and efficiency
- Sharing best practices in shortwave network deployment
Our Experiment in Japan
The experiment will be conducted in two main phases, aimed at evaluating the performance and capabilities of our experimental radio station. These phases are as follows:
- Setup Phase: During this initial phase, our team will focus on the installation and configuration of the experimental radio station equipment. We will ensure that all components are properly set up and calibrated for optimal performance.
- Testing Phase: Once the setup is complete, we will proceed to the testing phase, which involves regular transmission tests and data transfer experiments between Japan and the USA throughout the experiment's duration. Testing sessions will be scheduled five times a week to assess the reliability, signal quality, and data transfer rates of our system. At the conclusion of the experiment, we will conduct a comprehensive evaluation of the collected data.
